Taking part in the national final of the prestigious Pilsner Urquell Master Bartender competition is a major professional achievement in itself, and we are proud that Mlýn Kozlovice was represented there as well.
Our Petra advanced to the final twenty bartenders from across the Czech Republic and represented Mlýn in the April final, held in Plzeň and Prague. Reaching the finals among the country’s best is a testament to the high level of craftsmanship, professionalism and care she brings to every perfectly poured beer.
The final challenged competitors in demanding disciplines, from pouring technique and beer care to blind tastings and presentation skills in front of an expert jury. The second part of the competition took place at Prague’s O2 universum during the Makro Czech Gastro Fest, in front of thousands of visitors, where contestants had to perform not only professionally but also under the pressure of a live audience.
Although this year did not bring the winning title, participation in the national final was a valuable experience, inspiration and a great success for Petra. All the more reason for us to be proud that Mlýn Kozlovice had its place in such a prestigious competition.
We thank Petra for her excellent representation and congratulate her on becoming part of a competition that recognizes the very best in the art of beer pouring.
